When a ConsensusDocs 202 Change Order has not been agreed upon yet, this contract document is used as a unilateral order issued by the Owner of the construction project for changes needed in the work to be performed by the Constructor (aka builder, general contractor, design-builder, construction manager). This contract document is made when the price and time for changes (Change Order) in the Constructor’s work have not yet been established, but all parties are negotiating expeditiously and in good faith on the Change Order.
